Assalam Alaykum Wa Rahmatulahi Wa Barakatuhu.
May was a busy month for masjidulmumineen.org. Just last month alone, we processed
total online convention registration dollar amounts in
the thousands, received up to 30 name submissions for graduation dua, processed up to
300 emails and experienced record breaking visits to the website. Insha Allah, this month is the convention month, so promises to be even busier for the website. Please stay tuned and continue to visit masjidulmumineen.org occasionally as we plan on updating you with
the latest from both women's convention and MBF Summit.
In addition, this edition of MOM is focused on one of
the most important Mumineen projects to date, the Masjid
Expansion project. We have the latest updates from the
expansion committee and are continuing to work closely
with them to get you more details as insha Allah, we
need all hands on deck to complete this project.
We also want to thank all those that submitted emails for suggestions and comments about the masjid's website.
Please continue to send emails to
support@masjidulmumineen.org we'll be happy to receive your comments.
May Almighty Allah bless you and your families. JZK

Expanding for a bigger and stronger community
When our Mumineen founding fathers were laying the foundation for the 8875 Benning Drive mosque, little did they know that they were not only laying the foundation for a mosque but for a strong and cohesive community - Masjidul Mumineen.
At this time, the community has significantly grown from what it was many years ago. The time |
has come for us to make history again by expanding on this vision of a growing community with the Masjid Expansion Project.
Ever since this project was initiated, the expansion committee volunteers have never stopped to rest, from constantly seeking donations
locally to travelling accross the world for grants, closing on a deal that granted and conveyed the ownership of a tract of land containing
11 acres located on Fondren Meadow Drive, completing the work on the redesign and renovation of the worship center in the Masjid Mumineen
Islamic Center, launching Al-Mumineen journal to increase awareness on the expansion project, their efforts are countless.
Last year, phase 1 one of the expansion project was completed successfully with the Grand Re-Dedication Ceremony to commemorate the renovation of the 8875 Benning Drive masjid.
But do we really need a new masjid?
